Vibe-coding is getting crazy

Somehow, X is still my primary discovery channel for all things AI, and the latest vibe-coding experiment got me.

I don't remember who posted it, but the app called Terran Defense got my attention. If you've ever played StarCraft, this one's for you.

Warcraft II was the first RTS game I cut my teeth on, so I was primed to play StarCraft when it came out. I was in college, and I remember one guy describing StarCraft as "just Warcraft with lasers." I thought that StarCraft took everything about Warcraft II that was amazing and amped it up.

Fast forward to this game, where you play as the Terran race and have to build defenses to survive waves of enemies. What a cool idea! It's got some quirks, but overall I'm giving the designer a bravo for a first pass. I'm still working on beating it on easy mode.

This gets my imagination going for what type of game I could code. The sky is the limit as long as you have the patience to give your agent the proper direction. I remember an old Mac game called Gridz where you fought for territory using attack bots. It would be great to have an updated version of that game.

@therealbrandonwilson That’s why I’m still on X. All the fun frontier stuff with AI, you get them only on X
