The next generation of personalized wellness

Today marks a new era in my wellness journey and my business. Just two days after ordering it, I received Vital Sense, the brand-new wearable from Vital Health. I even posted a Facebook reel to tease everyone. Since I just slapped it on my wrist and briefly checked the companion app, my best description right now is an AI health coach on your wrist.

Here's what it tracks:

  • Steps
  • Active calories
  • Distance
  • Heart rate
  • Heart rate variability (HRV)
  • SpO2
  • Body temperature
  • Skin temperature
  • Breathing rate
  • Blood pressure
  • Stress
  • Blood glucose
  • Sleep
  • Single-lead ECG
  • Blood lipids
  • Body composition

I'm a bit shocked by how much data this device can gather. It has the usual light sensors facing the skin, and functionality built into the metal panel on the front for the more detailed measurements (likely using electroconductivity/frequency techniques). Obviously, these are consumer-grade estimates and not medical measurements.

Some might say, okay, this isn't the only wearable that can provide these measurements. So what? The magic is in the soon-to-be-released VitalOS, the app's AI-powered section that will provide actionable information. I haven't seen it yet, so I don't have more details. Suffice it to say, this is the secret sauce that sets this wearable apart from the others on the market.

You can learn more about the device at this link. I was lucky to get one of the first pre-orders on October 1st, which sold out in less than four hours. The next opportunity to buy the device will be at Vital Fest in Orlando later this month, and then it will be available to the general public soon after. The price is $250 for affiliates and $300 for retail customers, and there is no subscription fee as long as one maintains an active status as an affiliate or customer with Vital Health.
