The Big Mexico Trip

I am gearing up for my upcoming trip. I scheduled an Uber pickup at 5 AM tomorrow to take me to the Phoenix airport Hertz rental car facility to pick up the rental car that I'm driving to Mexico. On my way out of the city, I'll be picking up Chef Z, who is the brainchild of this trip. Then we have about a 1.5-hour drive to Tucson, where we will pick up Cindy, another team member. From there, it's about another hour straight south to the border crossing at Nogales. I'm hoping for a smooth passage through the border. It's about another 3 hours south from Nogales to our destination in Hermosillo.

Our plan is to meet with company executives and get a tour of anything they will let us see. I would really like to tour the lab and manufacturing facility for our products. I've heard stories from people who've seen the facilities, and I want to see them for myself.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit nervous driving to another country. It's not because I've had any bad experiences; it's more about the unknown factor. This trip is definitely pushing me out of my comfort zone.
