The big lab appt part 2

Tomorrow, I am returning to the same lab I was at a week ago for more blood draws. I'm not sure why Function Health mandated two separate visits to the same location. The FAQs and AI chatbot could not give me a definitive answer. I'm also unsure why the results are trickling in on my account dashboard. I'm used to having one appointment and seeing my full results in a week or so. 

I look forward to having my full results so that I can schedule an appointment with a new doctor I met at the last conference I attended. I go through doctors like other people go through pairs of shoes. 🤣 Though, to be fair, if you're going to be picky about a professional, your doctor is one you want to be very picky about.

I basically throw out any traditional MDs. They are trained in a system designed to label conditions with diagnoses so encounters can be encoded for insurance companies. These doctors practice "standard of care," which the pharmaceutical industry largely established. If you visit a doctor who goes straight to the prescription pad, get up, do not pass GO, do not collect $200, and leave immediately.
