Skills over knowledge

Since the internet age, and now with some guy named AI rapidly evolving, skills are becoming increasingly valuable over knowledge. But not every skill. If there's one piece of advice I would give the kiddos, it's to get good at something worth getting good at.
I used to help people with resumes and cover letters. Not because I enjoyed doing it; I just happened to be good at it and was kind enough to offer to help others. In fact, over a year ago, I volunteered to help my friend Scott update his resume. I thought it would be a credit for the offer because he cannot seem to get his act together to complete just about any task. Sure enough, this week he called in his chit.
So I did what any respectable person would do. I fed his resume and cover letter into Claude and had it revise it and sent the docs back to him. His reply made me laugh. He asked if the documents were "good to go" for him to forward on. I told him that they are DRAFTS and that he should review the findings and decide what he wants to change for his final version.
So, I suppose one skill that is here to stay is figuring out best practices for working with some guy named AI.
