September 2026 Review
knight • 30 Sept 2026 •
September is the last month of Q3, and I started the month hoping to focus more on health, product launches, hosting cleanup and continuing to improve my AI Native Studio workflow.
Some progress is good; some is still moving too slowly.
So yeah, here’s my September review.
Health
Health is still one of the areas I’m least happy with.
While this is one of my main focuses going into Q4, the progress is still too little. There are lots of reasons, or maybe they are just excuses, but I hate to see so little progress here compared to everything else I managed to get done.
I have been talking about bringing my health back for a few months already, so this really needs to become something I actually do, instead of another goal I keep moving to next month.
Hosting
I continued cleaning up my hosting setup this month.
With the final chapter closed with one of my clients, I cleaned up another spare server and upgraded most of my remaining client projects to the latest PHP 8.5.
I still have one more spare server which I haven’t decided what to do with. Maybe use it for one of my products, or maybe move Hermes there.
I have been planning to move Hermes out of my own box for a while, but it is still not finalised.
AI Native Studio
Some major workflow changes are happening here.
Instead of just trying to get the original product workflow out, I spent quite a bit of time changing and optimizing how everything should work together.
I also started exploring Grok Bot this month, which I actually like quite a lot.
I’m still figuring out the best way to let everything work together, but right now I think the combination could be Grok Bot + Hermes + Codex.
The product automation workflow still isn’t fully done, but I feel like I’m getting closer to what I originally wanted AI Native Studio to become.
Products
I thought getting products launched would be easier in the AI era.
Turns out, not really.
My original goal was to launch 3 products in September, but I only managed to launch 2.
The main difference nowadays is that I don’t just want to launch the product itself. I also want to automate as much of the product operation, marketing and workflow as possible.
So in some ways, the product launch goal is now connected with my AI Native Studio goal, which also explains why both are taking longer than expected.
BarPeek
I launched BarPeek, my first native mobile app.
BarPeek syncs CodexBar data from your Mac to your iPhone, so you can easily check your usage when you are away from your Mac.
Since the app is built natively in Swift, I also managed to complete the widget.
The product itself is out now. What I’m working on next is the automation side, especially how I can automatically find and reach users who are searching for something like this.
ELI5
Besides BarPeek, I also launched ELI5, my first content directory.
The idea is pretty simple: grab some of the latest terms people are talking about and explain them like the reader is 5.
The site is live now, but the automation for discovering and adding the latest terms is still not ready.
Eventually I want this to become a mostly automated content product, so there is still some work to do before I can really call the whole system complete.
Wrapping Up September
That’s pretty much my September.
I didn’t hit everything I planned. Health is still moving way too slowly, and I only launched 2 products instead of 3.
But I did clean up more of my hosting, launched BarPeek and ELI5, explored Grok Bot, and continued figuring out what my AI Native Studio workflow should actually look like.
A lot of this month’s work feels connected. It’s no longer just about building and launching a product. I’m trying to figure out how I can build, launch, market, and operate products with AI working alongside me.
Still figuring it out, but I think I’m getting closer.
Now into Q4.
Wow bro, 2 products is pretty solid! Keep going keep going
