Sauna streak day 15

I am halfway through my 30-day sauna challenge. Is anyone surprised I made it this far? Is anyone questioning whether I will complete the challenge?
Have I noticed any major effects? I've been detoxing, for sure, as evidenced by some skin breakouts. I have lost a bit of weight. Overall, feeling pretty good.
At the Soul Search Expo yesterday, I stopped by the Relax Sauna booth. I talked to Ryan, a rep I've met before. He said his current record is five hours in the sauna. And he takes the chair out and sits completely inside it. That's hardcore! He said when you're in there that long, it becomes a religious experience. I can believe it, though I'm not interested in going that far into it anytime soon.
Some people say it's over 100 degrees F in AZ now. Who needs a sauna when you can just go outside? Sure, it is getting toasty outside now, but the Relax Sauna is a different kind of heat. This sauna uses far-infrared wavelengths. Unlike a traditional sauna that heats the air, and the air heats the skin from the outside, infrared energy penetrates the body and heats you from the inside. The effect on the body is quite different.

The design is very similar as far as a pop-up tent with a chair to sit on. The key difference with the Relax Sauna are the heaters that produce almost 100% far infrared instead of full-spectrum. Good ol’ Scientology. I haven’t looked into it, but sauna is absolutely one of the best ways to detox.

How long do you spend in the sauna? Is the sauna you have similar to the Therasage sauna? Fun fact: Scientology relies a lot on using the sauna to cleanse their members of toxins. 😄
