Roots vs fruits

Trees have a beautiful story.

To grow upwards it first has to grow downwards.
The roots have to dig deep into the messy earth.
Into where it is dark, damp, hard to breathe.
Being pushed on all sides by the earth.

Then slowly does it grow upwards.
From the trunck to the branches.
From the leaves to the fruits.
Into the sky and light.

Everyone wants the fruits.
No one saw the roots.

Everybody loves being high up, lighted up.
Nobody likes being down and dirty.

But the tree does both, with glee.
In equal measure.
In equal faith.
Upwards and downwards.
Heaven and hell.
All the same.
All for growth.
All for life.

The tree is a beautiful metaphor about life.
