Public and private writing

Everything I post here is public. That’s one limitation I hit most often. I write every day, but I have to write about the things I’m willing to share and there are many goals I don’t necessarily want to talk about publicly. For my first iteration of a Lifelog dashboard I focused on adding two new text fields. The Notes section is a private prewriting section. Post includes my public post. And Extra is for additional information I want to remember. I can post what’s in the post section, and save everything else in a file on my PC.

This should also help me from writing extra long, technical posts. I often overstuff my posts because I want to capture the info for later. I can do that offline now and just post the core message.

@Winkletter Wow very nice! 😍😍😍 I like the that you can write a public and private versions of one post. All along there were lifeloggers who asked for private posts, but I felt it went against the whole point of community in Lifelog. Having 2 versions of one post could be it! Like the streak safe check too

I definitely need the public part to keep the streak going. If I just built my own private system I would lapse in a few days. But I can use daily posting here as the heartbeat that keeps the system alive.
