Following a full day of Test and Tune at Winton Raceway, the team felt confident about the upcoming Winton 10 Hour event scheduled over the next two days. Each driver took a few laps to adapt to the sunny conditions and reestablish their rhythm. They focused on reacquainting themselves with critical aspects such as braking points, corner apexes, and gear changes to ensure they could achieve their expected lap times and maintain competitive performance.

The bright sun shone relentlessly throughout the day, and as temperatures gradually rose, it became increasingly challenging to maintain or increase speed. Despite these hurdles, each driver persisted and eventually found a comfortable rhythm that brought them closer to their target times for the upcoming weekend event. With similar weather conditions forecast for the weekend, tomorrow morning’s practice session should offer a clearer opportunity to settle on a definitive, nominated time.

It was also a productive day off the track, giving each driver plenty of time to prepare and thoroughly inspect the car. Scrutineering on Saturday morning is usually hectic, so completing it this afternoon was a welcome relief and meant avoiding the scrutineering queue tomorrow morning. As team manager, it is great to have everyone primed and ready to race tomorrow.
