Oura Ring

I have the same Oura ring I bought in 2019. It is a remarkable gadget to have for anyone trying to improve their sleep and overall health. Thank you Brandon for introducing me to it.
I have become so addicted to it that I feel bad when there are days when I don’t get any data. It started about a year ago. The battery doesn’t seem to last overnight. I can’t seem to be able to use it during the day if I want it to last all night.
So I reached out to Oura to give me a better charger or ring. They told me that I have used the ring past its warranty time so I had to get a new one if I wanted it to work like before. And the interesting part it that they now charge $7/month subscription. So I am unable to get a new ring at this time.
I just charge the ring all day and then use it at night and hope that I get my data. Until there is a better option, this semi working Oura is still the best option.

I have the latest generation ring and somehow must have gotten grandfathered in to avoid the subscription fees. I can go a few days before charging. Do you keep it in airplane mode?

I started having charging problems recently, too! It’s not as bad as yours, but it used to be better, so it takes me off guard realizing that the ring didn’t capture data for the night before.
And I absolutely hate the subscription model. 😤 I guess I won’t buying a new ring, either.
