October 2026 wrap-up

This October started off in all manner of lousy.

But fate did a U-turn, and things are better now. Haze is over, finally. Weather got cooler, more pleasant. We got some good news on the kid’s school placement. Family got ill, but on the mend. Cleaned up a horrifyingly mouldy part of the kitchen. Bought tickets to Chiangmai for December (yaaay!). Everyone’s back to normal. Things are working again. No drama.

All the while, I’ve just been keeping my head down, building quietly, (trying to) keep calm.

That’s my lousy October.
After all this, we can only go up.
