October has been a pretty packed month. Lots of things happening, some progress, and a few things that didn’t go as planned.

🏃 Health

Slightly better than last month. I managed to pick up exercise again, but only for a few days.

It’s been a really tight month, trying to get everything done while squeezing in some time for exercise is tougher than I thought.

Between the haze, work, and everything else, I keep finding excuses to skip it.

I guess I really need to stop making excuses and take my health more seriously.

🛠 Products

Quite a bit of progress this month, although not everything went as planned.

MailScope — Almost everything was ready for launch, but I got stuck with my Apple Developer license for a few days. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to launch it this month. A little frustrating when the product itself is pretty much ready.

HookFeed — A pivot from my previous idea, rebuilt during this month’s Product Weekend. I ran into the same developer license issue as MailScope, but luckily managed to resolve it just in time to roll out at the end of October.

It’s also my first open-source Mac app! Pretty excited about this one, and can’t wait to share it with others.

BarPeek — Finally rolled out v1.1 of my iPhone companion app for CodexBar. I managed to fix the widget, and it’s now working the way I originally wanted.

I think the product is in a pretty good place now. Moving forward, I should spend more time on marketing rather than building more features.

🤖 AI Native Studio / Solo Workflow

My AI Native Studio setup continues to evolve.

I’m now at Solo Workflow v5, with new tools like T3 Code and GrokBot joining my workflow.

One thing I’m happy about is that I’m getting better at utilising my different AI subscriptions instead of just paying for overlapping tools.

The whole building pipeline is slowly coming together. In fact, one of my products is now almost fully automated.

Still experimenting and figuring things out, but I feel like I’m getting closer to the workflow I want.

📣 Marketing

I’ve also been spending more time on social media this month.

Been putting more effort into X, Threads, and Xiaohongshu (XHS), and I think I’m starting to see some results.

Of course, there’s still a lot to learn, especially when it comes to getting people to discover my products.

I’m hoping to automate more of the content workflow as well, so I can stay consistent without spending too much time on it.

Reddit is probably the next platform I want to spend some time exploring.

That’s October!

Quite a busy month. Didn’t manage to launch everything I planned, but at least things are moving forward.

I think the biggest challenge now isn’t really building products anymore. It’s finding the time to balance building, marketing, and taking care of myself.

Still figuring that part out.

Let’s see how November goes. 🚀
