Losing and gaining momentum

I am fascinated with the dynamics of gaining and losing momentum—with habits or any other endeavor. I started pondering the topic after realizing I had lost steam with my Manifesting Mastery course.

When I started the course in March, I knew it would be a big commitment. Two 90-minute classes per week for six months is a substantial investment. I kept pace for a considerable portion of the course, I'd say, right up until about a couple of weeks ago. I didn't watch every class live, but I captured the replays and stayed current except for one occasional miss or two.

The difficulty with staying on pace began when I switched work assignments. In my previous role, I had few meetings and was able to attend live classes during work hours. My availability became more limited with the role change in July, and I had to rely on more and more replays. The final tipover was courtesy of the class--there were several canceled and rescheduled sessions that threw me completely off. I'm now a couple of weeks behind, and I'm trying to figure out how to get back on track. I think I should just pick up with the live classes starting Monday. I think we are nearing the end of the course, and if I can finish strong, I can take inventory when it's over and decide which classes to review/repeat.
