Letting go

Some of you may recall several years ago when I was experiencing pain in my hands. When I closed my hands, it felt like needles were stabbing me in my knuckles. I visited a naturopath, and we ruled out arthritis or any autoimmune conditions. I had marginal relief with acupuncture. Curiously, I had the most relief after my experience at 40 Years of Zen, when the pain completely disappeared, only to eventually return. The modality that has helped me the most was the Kloud PEMF mat.
As I have learned more about the complex nature of the body and how emotions are intrinsically tied to physiology, I have been learning about how emotional trauma may be affecting me physically. As it turns out, hand pain is associated with an inability to let go. I have been having pain in my left knee over the last couple of months, and curiously, left knee pain is also associated with an inability to move on from the past. Wow.
Now for the hard right turn. I pre-ordered the iPhone 18 Pro today (glacier), and I decided to take advantage of AT&T's $930 upgrade credit toward the $1200 purchase price by trading in my iPhone. Anyone who knows me will remember that I have kept every single phone I've ever owned. This will be the first time I've traded in an iPhone. Some would say it's a no-brainer, but this is a pretty big step for me toward letting go.

Not getting the iPhone Duo?

I hold onto my cell phones until a nearby museum asks to buy it.
