July is going to be another tough month.

I’ve been working on this mega project since last year, and the third week of July is the biggest milestone. A major event is happening, and almost everything I’ve built over the past year will be used — the backend, frontend, event system, and the mobile app.

So no doubt this will be the most stressful month of the year for me.

At the same time, I know once I get through July, I can finally take a proper break. I’ve been looking forward to that for a while now.

So my goals for July are pretty simple.

The first is to focus on my freelance work and clear every blocker before the event. Nothing else really matters until that’s done.

I don’t think I’ll have much time for product work this month. Instead, I want to continue cleaning things up and getting ready for the next product push starting in August. That means removing products that no longer make sense, cleaning up outdated ideas, and focusing only on those that still have potential.

The last goal is to continue investing in Hermes. I spent some time exploring OpenClaw previously, but I lost interest pretty quickly. Hermes feels different, and I’m planning to build my entire productivity stack around it. The goal is to gradually replace a lot of the SaaS tools I’m paying for today with an AI-native workflow running on my own setup.

So yeah, these are my three goals for July.

It’s probably going to be a stressful month, but if everything goes well, August will be the start of a very different chapter.
