Good ol' Halloween

Somehow, we've made it to another Halloween. I've gone through many phases of celebrating Halloween over the years. I'm currently in the drive-through neighborhood and look-at-decorations phase. I stopped giving out candy years ago, in part because of what I know about the ingredients in Halloween candy. The director at my client is a big Halloween fan, and she was none too pleased that I was raining on her parade. I actually like Halloween, but I also want people to know what they are consuming, especially kids.

Halloween is an excuse for adults to be a little silly and act like kids again. The extent of my costume this year is courtesy of ChatGPT:

What is more top of mind for me is that I am marking one year since I quit my job, started working as a part-time contractor, and focused 100% on Vital Health. It sure seems like I don't have many points on the board for all the work I did over the last year. Though I did focus on personal development and planting a lot of seeds.

So now we have two months left in 2026. Some people are already taking their foot off the gas to "get through the holidays." I'm speeding up. I want to have plenty of momentum so that I'm sprinting by the time Jan 1 rolls around.
