It’s Friday! Yay!

Can’t believe there would come a time when I start looking forward to Fridays… again. Not since becoming an entrepreneur in 2015/16.

It’s been a decade of not working for the weekend. Now, it’s back.

I’m still working for myself though. It’s just the sheer work hours and burnout that led to this. So it’s not your vocation, your career path, or even whether you had passion. Throw endless work and exhaustion at the wall long enough, it will fall. No matter how strong your conviction was initially.

But I do think this is a phase, a season.

Eventually, it will fade, and pass.
Eventually I won’t be counting down to Friday.
Eventually I will find it again.

But till then, it’ll be Friyay.
