Death in the Vital Health family

I was sad to learn today that Tonya, the Diamond leader who is the reason I am in Vital Health, passed away yesterday. She had been battling major health challenges, including recurring cancer. She finally lost the battle yesterday.

My feelings are complicated because Tonya had stopped working on her Vital Health business and was pursuing other opportunities outside the company. This put her team in a difficult spot and led to some fractures as people began seeking out other leaders who were actively working in the business. My upline was affected by this fracturing.

So now I'm not sure what happens. I know Tonya wanted her daughter to take over her business, but to my knowledge, her daughter wasn't working in Vital Health. Tonya was the sole holdout preventing my sponsor and our team from moving to another team, so I'm not sure whether that's back on the table. Maybe it's too soon to discuss such matters, but this unresolved issue has been ongoing for most of this year.

Regardless of the final disposition, I'm not letting it affect my progress moving forward. The show must go on, and I will be forever grateful to Tonya for noticing my flyer and having my sponsor contact me to join the company.
