Death by 1000 bites

This month we’ve had a lot of rain followed by heat and humidity, and no real cold days in the mix, so the average mosquito population for this time of year is double its normal levels. It’s been so annoying. Instead of sitting outside to read a book I find myself sweeping the porch or clearing weeds just to keep myself moving ahead of the roving packs. But honestly I’m spending much more time inside. I’m watching TV while rubbing anti-itch gel on my arms and legs and Googling, when will it get cold again?.
