Creativity needs consistency

You cannot be creative at a high level unless you are robotic at a low level. – @justinskycak
I always say this:
Consistency in input, chaos in output.
You can’t be truly creative when the conditions that give rise to it is chaotic too. Creativity is the shoot that grows when sunshine, water and soil comes together, regularly. If you read about the daily habits of highly creative writers, inventors, artists, you will find that their daily life is utterly boring.
Benjamin Franklin kept a strict daily schedule, rising at 5 and sleeping at 10.
Maya Angelou rented a hotel room just to isolate herself to write.
Thomas Edison did polyphasic sleep of only 4-5h per day, and used power naps to trigger creative inspiration.
Boring habits, unboring outcomes.
