Comfort

Plenty of growth can be found in removing your vices, but the real leaps are unlocked when you stop clinging to your comforts. – James Clear
That’s called your comfort zone.
It’s comfortable, yes.
But nothing grows there.
Nothing.
Because nothing changes.
There’s no growth impetus.
It’s all just laziness, or luxury.
It’s just stasis masquerading as normalcy.
It’s all circus and bread.
Real growth happens where you’re uncomfortable.
Where discomfort is normalcy.
Where you feel lazy but get up anyway.
Where not showing up is a luxury.
So, anytime you feel uncomfortable… you know you’re growing.

“Removing your vices will make you better. Removing your comforts will make you suspiciously productive and slightly annoying at dinner.” -Jim Muddled
