Appt rescheduled

I was totally prepared for my appointment with the doctor today, and then his office manager notified us that he had to reschedule for Monday. I was disappointed, but I'd rather know in advance than show up and wait for hours. This will give me time to do some fine-tuning.
Coming from the corporate world where the trains (mostly) run on time, I was surprised when so many people blow off appointments or ask to have them rescheduled multiple times in the course of working with my business. I'm a stickler for commitments because I believe they are important. I hold myself accountable to following through on what I say I will do, and that's what I ask of other people, especially in a professional context. I respect people more if they decide not to commit rather than commit and flake afterward.
In one of Kevin Trudeau's trainings, he talks about breaking agreements and how that affects us. It creates a blockage and stops us from moving forward, and the effect compounds the more agreements you break. The answer is to address those previous agreements you broke using a mindfulness meditation with intention, and then work to keep your agreements going forward.
