Another Bookoff

I find it very challenging to part with any books from my personal library, which is why I make a point of doing so periodically. The deal I made with myself, if I'm going to keep collecting books, is that I also need a way to clear out books I no longer intend to read. 

So with that, I made my usual trip to Bookman's, where I can usually get some good trade-in value if they decide to accept the books because they are notoriously picky. They selected a few and gave me $20 in store credit to add to my existing balance of about $110. I still had quite a few books left, so I made a second stop at Bookoff, which usually takes most, if not all, of what I bring in and pays in cash. Sure enough, they took the rest and gave me $9. I used $7 immediately on another book, The Great Cholesterol Myth, which has been on my list for a while and got moved up because of my recent lab results.

Not a bad haul, picking up almost $30 and sending another box of books off for others to appreciate. Now it's time to schedule more time to read.
