Ambient coffee vibes

Apparently, I share one trait with the younger generation. I use a second screen to constantly fill my environment with ambient media. It could be ASMR, slow TV canal boat journeys, Lofi music, or public walks in distant cities and towns. I like haircuts and shoe shines, barbershop massages, and even ear cleaning videos if they don’t zoom in on anything disgusting. I am not one of those weirdos who likes to incite disgust. There’s something special about a situation where one person provides care for another person, and in exchange they give absolute trust.

Right now I’m watching cafes and mobile baristas a lot. I was watching Japanese shops and food carts, but that turns out to be too distracting. Food fascinates. But a bit of latte art on the side of a London street creates just enough noise and distraction to help me focus.
