A resilient habit

Two thousand days of daily writing on Lifelog by @jasonleow is a mighty effort. Watching him reach that milestone alongside @therealbrandonwilson feels both inspiring and faintly confronting. Their records are clean and uninterrupted, a testament to persistence in its purest form. I would love to join them at that milestone, but my own path across the same stretch of time bears a small blemish: one missed day. Just one. It’s almost absurd how something so minor can loom so large beside an unbroken streak. That gap feels louder than the thousands of words that surround it.
But perhaps that single lapse also reveals something important. Life’s not always neat or perfectly sustained; there are days when intentions waver, other demands arise, and the rhythm briefly slips. Yet, despite these setbacks, I kept going. I returned the next day, and the day after that, rebuilding not a flawless streak but a resilient habit. Over time, turning up almost every day for the past 2000 days still holds significant meaning. That blemish doesn’t erase the effort I’ve put in. Instead, it serves as a reminder that true consistency isn’t about never faltering but about continuing regardless of setbacks.

👏👏👏 Couldn’t have said it better! In fact, I think bouncing back is a stronger signal of consistency and resilience!~

Well said! #Teamstreak
