2 years since 9–5

Two years ago, a door closed for good. Any opportunity for a 9 to 5 job ended when this government job offer fell through. “F em”, we all said.

How has it been, since?

I’ve been ALL IN on freelancing frontend dev cum Carrd tech support agent cum indie entrepreneur now.

A hybrid career.

No longer about passion or purpose.
No longer about design and innovation.
No longer social impact and public good.
No longer about contributing back to society.

Now it’s about working remotely.
Now it’s about location independence.
Now it’s about thriving beyond survival.
Now it’s about joy from being good at a task.

Two years ago, we were desperate to survive.
Two years on, we got big dreams now, to relocate.

To a new, better life.
A more well-lived life.

Imagine what two more years will bring!
